Crackdown was created by one of the developers of grand theft auto. This third person action game is one of the hottest titles for the xbox 360. Crackdown is full of non-stop action. You’re a cop of the future. A super cop! It’s your job to clean up the city. How and in what order you do it in is up to you.

The city is littered with gangs and you need to take them out. This game has a similar feel to the grand theft auto series. You can pull people out of cars and roam the city. Let me say right off the bat that BlackSite: Area 51 is an average game. I am not saying it’s bad, I’m just saying it’s average. You play as Aeran Pierce, a tough guy who has a team of wise guys that he leads into Iraq. You find a piece of alien technology you get into a fight, you lose one of your crew and blackout. The story then picks up 3 years later in Nevada. Something to do with the Alien stuff you saw in Iraq is now there and your mission is to stop it. Read the rest of this entry »

Super Mario Galaxy is a platform game in 3-D. Once again good old Mario is out to save Princess Peach from Bowser. You play Mario and you must cross the galaxy the save the Princess. You will encounter strange worlds and even stranger creatures.

Though he is in space, Mario is not short on moves. In fact being in outer space gives Mario some new amazing moves. There will be a lot of shaking, pointing and tilting with the Wii remote. Read the rest of this entry »

Assassin’s Creed is one of the most anticipated games of 2007. Some aspects of this game are outstanding. The cinematic scenes are breathtaking. The cites are huge. If you climb to the highest building, everything you see is accessible and the view is breathtaking. Though this is an action game the story line plays an important part of the game. Saints Row 2 is set 15 years after the first one. The game takes a bit of a “dark turn”. The main character is out for revenge and redemption against a city that has left him for dead.

In this installment of the game we can now play the entire online in the single player and co-operative modes. Which in the first version we couldn’t. Another nice change is the vehicles. Finally we get a motorcycle! We also get to fly planes and helicopters that will help us explore the new expanded Stilwater. Read the rest of this entry »
