Halo 3 is a long awaited game in the Halo series. The game picks up where the last one left one left off. If you don’t know the story you can read about it here. Honestly, you don’t need to know what has been going on. It’s a shooter, go out and kill! If you are a Halo fan this game certainly doesn’t disappoint. There are so many improvements on the game everything from game play to weaponry.

The battle rife is still the standard issued weapon for Halo 3. However, very few games have a standard weapon that can do it all. Whenever you’re in a pinch the battle rifle can get you out of it. However, there are a lot of new weapons such as the spartan laser, flame thrower, grenades and even a fire bomb. The best weapon in the whole game is the gravity hammer. Which will let you mess and smash with just about anything on the map.

Halo 3 has been improved by taking away a lot of the repetitiveness of the old Halo’s, especially the scenery. They have also added new vehicles like the brute chopper. Which makes this game very exciting and in my opinion, the chopper is the best vehicle in Halo 3. You can wiz your way through Halo 3 in about 10 - 12 hours if you’re a pro and about 5 hours in multi-player mode.

The multi-player has improved as well, with 11 maps this time. They all seem to be pretty good. Sand trap is cool and so is Narrows… which has a man cannon. This is a weapon only found on the multi-player game. The man cannon can unleash some incredible devastation and which is why it’s only found online.

One feature I truly love is the ability to retrieve an instant replay of your kill. You can send this to other Halo 3 players. Now no one will doubt your skills, even if it was a lucky shot. You can follow a smoke trail of a rocket or a bullet until it hits the mark. Very cool.

If you need some help paying Halo 3 here is a small cheat list. These cheats can only be performed during a local or replay match only. You must simultaneously press and hold the following buttons for 3 SECONDS to toggle the effect on / off.

Buttons:
LB = Left Bumper
RB = Right Bumper
LS = Click in on Left Analog Stick
RS = Click in on Right Alalog Stick
