Saints Row 2 is set 15 years after the first one. The game takes a bit of a “dark turn”. The main character is out for revenge and redemption against a city that has left him for dead.

In this installment of the game we can now play the entire online in the single player and co-operative modes. Which in the first version we couldn’t. Another nice change is the vehicles. Finally we get a motorcycle! We also get to fly planes and helicopters that will help us explore the new expanded Stilwater.

The AI has been improved. Pedestrians are more responsive and react better to the elements or events happening around the, such as a shoot out. A down person will draw a crowd helping the main charter to get away. The charter personalization is better than before. You can now create a female charter and even use the new “Freak Generator” to create clothing to suit the charter. You’ll be able to customize your crib in style as well.

There will be more weird side missions and improved weaponry. Saints Row 2 is a game that will not disappoint and looks like it will be one of the top games of 2008.
